This week, Love Is All released their third album, Two Thousand and Ten Injuries. The high energy rockers have been getting rave reviews, just as they're about to set out on their North American tour.
Pitchfork gave the album an 8.0 and fawned over how well the record straddles 60s garage and post-punk styles. Jess Harvell writes, "Love Is All singer Josephine Olausson is one of the early 21st century's great poets of romantic dissatisfaction, and like the ladies of the Slits, the Raincoats, and the Delta 5, her take on bad romance is deeply personal, beyond post-punk pastiche."
Filter magazine gushes, "Throw in some joy, a few gloriously scuffed-up recordings, and a love of The Pastels and you can see why Love Is All is worth all the fuss." To top it all off, Spin Magazine gives the album four stars and writes, "For all her seeming eccentricity, Olausson is a crafty performer whose outbursts provide vividly specific snapshots of a full-throttle life."
