Today is also the release of At Echo Lake, Woods' fifth album. Pitchfork writes that it may be "the best" Woods album to date, and gives it a high 8.0 rating. It's out on the band's own label, Woodsist, and they are playing both Woodsist Fests in California next month.

Woodsist, the Brooklyn-based record label that is home to Woods and Real Estate, has announced two upcoming mini music festivals: June 12th at the Henry Miller Library in  Big Sur, California and  June 15th at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. Playing these dates are Woods, Real Estate, and Kurt Vile, with the addition of Los Angeles-based Abe Vigoda.  

Woodsist will also curate a show at this year's Northside Festival in Brooklyn on June 25th at Music Hall of Williamsburg. It will be the first time Woods and Real Estate have played together in New York since their tour launch back in March.
