Colour Revolt

Colour Revolt is an indie rock band formed in Oxford, Mississippi in 2003, whose music channels the spirit of Southern gothic through haunting melodies, emotional intensity, and stark lyrical imagery. The group emerged in the mid-2000s with a self-titled EP that quickly earned critical attention for its intensity and lyrical depth. Their debut album, Plunder, Beg and Curse (2008) and sophomore release The Cradle (2010), showcased a dynamic range that moved between quiet vulnerability and explosive instrumentation. Through relentless touring and a fiercely passionate live presence, Colour Revolt cultivated a devoted fan base and became a respected voice in the Southern indie rock scene. In 2014, after a decade of constant activity, the band entered an indefinite hiatus. That hiatus is over. Long live Colour Revolt.
