Since the release of her debut album Shapeshifter in 2016, New York based songwriter Jilian Medford – better known as IAN SWEET, has worked vigorously towards reinvention with each album. From the rocking rush of Crush Crusher (2018) into the emotional depths of Show Me How You Disappear (2021), gradually rising to the surface with the sparkling pop profundity of SUCKER (2023), Medford’s singular voice has only grown stronger.
