Starcharm is the Chicago-based indie rock project of Elena Buenrostro following the dissolution of her previous band, Soft and Dumb. Emerging in 2024 alongside other Chicago acts of the Hallogallo scene, Starcharm sets itself apart through its noisy impulses, atypical rhythms, and overwhelmingly pop sensibilities. In late last summer, the project announced their signing to Firetalk Records’ imprint label Angel Tapes. With a keen appreciation for the unexpected, Starcharm aims to have you on your toes during their set, and humming their songs on the way home.
