Tele Novella

Tele Novella are a Texas-based duo currently residing in the small rural town of Lockhart, TX where they find inspiration for their medieval-western sound.  With fable-like storytelling and thoughtfully-crafted arrangements, their recordings are cinematically-evocative, often containing chimes, dulcimers, toys and vibraphones that bring a strange hue to their American Gothic themes. Self-described as Folk-Fantasy and Magical Realism, there is something both wise and childlike about their lyrics—an otherworldly transmission via cassette 8-track recorder.
