Body Meat Joins Ground Control Touring Roster

Ground Control Touring is proud to announce Body Meat as the newest addition to our artist roster.

Body Meat is the post-genre pop brainchild of the eclectic musician Christopher Taylor. He has spent most of his life bouncing around the United States with his Irish mother and Ethiopian father. Beyond being environmental scientists, their time as funk musicians has irrevocably changed his love and involvement with music. In a Pitchfork Rising feature penned by Michelle Kim they noted, “He focuses on a wide survey of music from the African diaspora: footwork auteur Jlin, Ugandan electronic label Nyege Nyege Tapes, Portuguese dance label Príncipe, Chicago drill rappers Sicko Mobb, Ethiopian pop diva Aster Aweke, and a lesser-known album by Earth, Wind & Fire, 1993’s Millennium.”
