MidPoint Music Festival Returns This Week!

Thousands of music fans are in attendance for the 13th annual MidPoint Music Festival this week, taking place from September 25-27. Bringing around 150 bands to 14 stages, MPMF has quickly become a must-attend event within its region, located in Downtown Cincinnati and the adjoining Over-the-Rhine district.

Staying true to its spirit of discovery, the festival’s 2014 line up incorporates a mix of both established and on-the-rise musical acts. Ground Control Touring artists playing at the festival include Real Estate, Deafheaven, Ex Hex, Speedy Ortiz and Earth.

In addition to music, a vibrant street fair will take place once again, located along 12th Street in Over-the-Rhine offer from 5:00 pm to midnight.

Friday September 26th
6:00 pm – Real Estate at MidPoint Midway

Saturday September 27th
9:30 pm – Ex Hex at Know Theatre
10:30 pm – Speedy Ortiz at Know Theatre
10:45 pm – Earth at Taft Ballroom
12:00 am – Deafheaven at Taft Ballroom
