Welcoming WAND and Cory Hanson to Our Artist Roster

Ground Control Touring is excited to announce the addition of WAND as well as the solo project of frontman Cory Hanson to our roster of touring artists.

WAND, now comprised of Cory Hanson, Lee Landey, Evan Burrows, Robbie Cody, and Sofia Arreguin, formed in late 2013 and released their debut album Ganglion Reef in 2014 via Drag City imprint, God? Records.

Since then, WAND has toured heavily around the US and Europe with the likes of Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, and Mikal Cronin, and released two additional full lengths in 2015: Golem via In the Red Records, and 1000 Days on Drag City.

In 2016, frontman Cory Hanson released his debut solo album The Unborn Capitalist From Limbo via Drag City. With this project Hanson highlights his versatility as an artist, stripping away the fuzzed out layers of WAND to craft ethereal, timeless folk.
